This afternoon, Saqib went to the 200 year anniversary of Cadburys, held in Parliament. Saqib said "It was fantastic to hear about (and taste!) the amazing things Cadburys has to offer."
Cadbury was founded back in 1824 by John Cadbury, a businessman from the West Midlands, who sold tea, coffee and chocolate. Cadbury over the next 200 years grew into one of the world’s largest chocolate manufacturers.
Saqib commented "As a Member of Parliament for a West Midlands constituency and as somebody who championed business in the West Midlands prior to entering Parliament, I am extremely proud that our region has such a rich (and sweet) history. I will continue to support businesses like Cadbury and I certainly hope its next 200 years will be as successful as its last."
