Rishi Sunak has thanked Saqib Bhatti for his advice and help in implementing the financial package which was introduced to help businesses who are struggling due to the Coronavirus.
Saqib praised the Bounce Back Loan Scheme and asked the Chancellor to confirm that more work was being done to increase the number of accredited lenders so that businesses can continue receiving the funds they require.
Rishi Sunak responded by saying: "Can I thank my Honourable Friend for his advice as we look to design and improve our lending schemes, I very much value his direct links with business and relaying that to me." The Chancellor went on to update the House on the number of loans which have been approved.
