Saqib Bhatti is the new Conservative Member of Parliament for Meriden, after winning the seat in yesterday's General Election. Saqib received the highest vote share for an MP in Meriden since the 1960s.
Speaking after the result, Saqib said, "Thank you to the people of Meriden who voted yesterday to put their trust in me. It will be my honour to serve you. Thank you."
