Saqib Bhatti, Member of Parliament for Meriden, convened local business owners from across the West Midlands for his Business Forum on 2nd June 2023 at Nailcote Hall in Berkswell.
The forum presented an opportunity for business owners to discuss their concerns with Saqib, alongside guest speaker Eileen Schofield, President of the Solihull Chambers of Commerce and Principal Solicitor at Schofield & Associates. The discussions included the future of business in the West Midlands, support for the hospitality industry and local connectivity in the Solihull Borough.
As former President of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, Saqib recognises that business is a vital part of the local community and is passionate about addressing issues facing business owners.
Commenting on the Business Forum, Saqib, who also serves as Vice Chair for Business for the Conservative Party, said:
“Thank you to everyone who attended my June Business Forum. I’m particularly grateful to Nailcote Hall for generously hosting the event at the beautiful hotel, and to Eileen Schofield for lending us her business expertise and local industry insight”.
“I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with local business owners within the Meriden constituency and beyond. Business is the cornerstone of our community, and I am passionate about doing everything I can to ensure that local businesses within the Solihull Borough continue to flourish.”
