Saqib Bhatti MP spoke up in the House of Commons on behalf of the survivors of Ian Paterson. Saqib's remarks were in response to an Urgent Statement regarding the Paterson Inquiry. The findings of the Inquiry were reported on Tuesday 4th February 2020 and contained a range of proposals for the consideration of healthcare providers and the Government.
Nadine Dorries, who is the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, gave the statement on behalf of the Government. Dorries said that the Government will study the report carefully.
Saqib asked Ms Dorries to join him in commending the bravery of the survivors who are working hard to see change after their terrible experiences.
