Earlier this week, Saqib to visited News UK’s headquarters at London Bridge.
As Shadow Culture, Media and Sport Minister, Saqib is responsible for holding the Government’s relationship with the media to account.
Saqib commented "I had fascinating discussions about the challenges and opportunities for print, broadcast and digital news platforms in the UK.
We discussed the importance of ensuring everyone has access to good-quality journalism to keep them up to date in a more volatile world to the impact of new technology like AI on the sector.
