Saqib recently visited the Family Hub in Elmdon.
Having lobbied for the funding, seeing the Hubs in action is so exciting. All four of the Hubs, with the others being in Kingshurst, Chelmsley Wood and Smith’s Wood, offer a range of services to the local communities, including health services, employment support, family programmes and much more.
Family Hubs are places where children, young adults and families can go when you need help and support. The amazing and experienced staff will assist you in getting help from different services in the area. These vital Hubs give you the means and the support network to help you solve any problems you may have early before they get bigger
The people working in the Family Hub will be from the Council, NHS, and voluntary partners working in partnership with you and the community.
The Family Hubs are open to everyone. You may need to book an appointment to access some services, but there will always be a safe space available for you if you need it. You can contact the Hub via the email: [email protected]
