Earlier this week Saqib was delighted to go to Knowle Church of England Primary School to meet with the winner of his annual Christmas Card Competition.
Saqib commented, "I received hundreds of entries from across the Solihull East and Meriden Constituency. All of the submissions were absolutely fantastic and I spent days agonising over who the winner should be!
After a long and gruelling decision making process, I decided on a winner….
Emily Gorman of Knowle Primary School was the champion of this years competition, with a fantastic entry themed around an iconic Christmas symbol, a Red Robin.
It was heartwarming to go hand Emily a copy of her card in person and to tell her about all the people across Westminster, such as Mr Speaker and the Leader of the Opposition, who will be receiving a copy of this card.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered the competition, and to the Teachers for submitting the entries. I look forward to doing another one next year!"
