Saqib Bhatti, Member of Parliament for Meriden, has today launched ‘Keep Meriden Tidy’, a community focussed clean up weekend on the 3rd and 4th of July 2021 in conjunction with various community groups.
With litter picks planned for Knowle, Dorridge, Balsall Common, Hampton in Arden, Chelmsley Wood and Kingshurst, there is an opportunity for residents in all parts of the Meriden constituency to get involved.

Commenting on the clean-up weekend, Saqib said:
“As your local Member of Parliament, I want to make sure the Meriden constituency is a cleaner and more environmentally friendly place to live in. We all take immense pride in our community and that is why we must do our bit to protect the environment and keep it tidy.
“This will be an excellent opportunity to get together with your local community for a good cause.
