Earlier this week Saqib met with Dr Richard Wilson of TIGA, who are representatives of the Video Game Industry.
Saqib commented "This network allows video game developers to come together, to champion the industry both here in the UK and around the world.
It was interesting to hear from Richard about the innovation taking place within the industry and how as a country, we are emerging as a player on the digital stage.
The video game industry employs 47,000 people here in the UK and that figure has grown over 31% since 2016! It is clear that this sector is growing rapidly. That is why I always find it so important to meet with people like Richard, so that as an Opposition, we can find ways to best champion and support that growth."
