Saqib's Summer Internship Programme is now open.
This new scheme will give students who go to a school in the Meriden Constituency and/or live in the Meriden Constituency the opportunity to work with Saqib for a week and even have the opportunity to travel down to Westminster. Each student will be offered a week’s work experience.
Applicants must be 16 or over and should send their CV and a cover letter explaining why they would like to be chosen for the programme to [email protected].
Shortlisted individuals will then be invited to interview with the top candidates chosen to take part in the programme. Details of this programme have also been sent to Secondary Schools in the Meriden Constituency.
Commenting on the programme, Saqib explained:
“There are so many talented individuals in the Meriden Constituency and that is why I cannot wait to run this programme and see all of the wonderful applications. I feel so proud to represent Meriden and I am looking forward to working with the students chosen.
“I am looking for hard-working individuals who have bags of enthusiasm and an interest in politics.”
